After losing my dad suddenly In may, as a family we were heart broken and had no idea where to start when it came to planning a funeral. We read some reviews online and decided Jacksons funeral home in Upton was the company we would go with. I phoned the Upton branch and mark answered the phone. From that very moment I knew we had made the right decision. Mark has the kindest soul, and genuinely cares for the familys he's working with. He instantly made myself and my family feel in safe hands. We explained our situation to Mark and that we had no idea where to start and he invited us down the the branch to talk things through. Mark talked in detail through everything, step by step, and explain in great lengths how funerals worked, what order they went in and what our options were. Being only 24 we had no experience or any idea of what to do or expect. Nothing was to much hard work, to much effort, or a stupid question. He helped us with everything we could of asked for, and never laughed or judged us if we asked something which may of been obvious to many but unknown to us. After organising the out line to our dads day, mark kept us up to date by phone and on email. He was always there to call if we needed to ask something or add something no matter what time or day. Marks wife Jenny led our service and what a remarkable job she did, we met her together as a family & told her about our dad, and our memories.. she created a beautiful peace which she read perfectly to every word. Jenny again was very caring and incredibly kind she made us feel comfortable and help a lot when it came to organising the words to say, when no words can explain the pain of the situation we were in. The team of pallbearers from Jacksons which carried our dad at the service were the most genuine and caring people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Everyone of them were outstanding and professional from start to finish. At the service my grandfathers struggled to walk down to the grave side so Jacksons offered to take him in the service car so he could still come down the the burial. This again was just another example of there kind hearts and genuine compassion for the familys they help. From start to finish every team member we met at Jacksons were kind, friendly and caring. Not a single thing was to much trouble or to little. There wasnt any hassle for money, they werent pushy, they werent over priced. They were honest, true and very very caring. The prices are explained in detail with no hidden cost and extremely reasonable, we had quotes with bigger main stream companys and other locals companys ranging from 6000-9000 just for the basics. We had everything we wanted, the way we wanted with Jacksons and still came below basic prices of other competing companies. If you were thinking about organising a service with Jacksons funeral services I honestly couldnt recommend them enough, from start to finish there service is exceptional and above outstanding.

I would like to extend my gratitude to Mark and the team at Jacksons who were extremely friendly and accommodating regarding our slightly different requests for my husband David's send off. On the day they were understanding, compassionate and professional in ensuring all elements came together seamlessly. I would certainly recommend their services.
