We had 6 dining chairs that were covered in leather and were 20 years old. We love the chairs and didnt want to part with them. I had heard that re-upholstery was expensive so I did some searching. I found PK Upholstery on Google and as it is not far from us made an appointment to visit, taking 1 chair with us. I am so impressed by the owner (Peter), his workshop, swathes of suitable fabrics, and his lovely little dog. So, Peter collected the 6 chairs from us last Thursday 5th January and delivered them back all done Wednesday 11th Jan (23). We went to see Peter in November last year, and he told us how busy he was, so you need to book him in. I am so pleased that I have my chairs back in a new condition. The fabric I chose is just perfect. Peter will guide you through the rights and wrongs of fabric choice so please take on board what he advises. He also told us that once he had stripped the chairs down, how good the oak frames were. We never realised that they were oak!
