      • The Corner House | Self Catering Accommodation Holiday Let

        We found The Corner House fully equipped for a relaxing weekend away. We dined in but Uppingham had many restaurants in easy walking distance. The house was warm, clean and decor was cosy and tasteful. The beds were comfy and bedrooms light and airy. Loved the kitchen which is the hub of the house with the quaint cellar leading off. Courtyard was private and handy for our dog - would be lovely in the summer months. We enjoyed many walks in the grounds of the school and were lucky enough to see the New Years Day Hunt whilst out and about. Parking is restricted in the day near to the house, but very close by is unrestricted parking in a quiet street. No need to use your car really if you like walking as the Town is so handy. We were amazed at the speedy service of a broken appliance during our visit, within half an hour a tradesman had attended and problem solved. Many thanks.
