Lovely shop but the lady behind the counter glared at me and didnt acknowledge I was there at all. Made me uncomfortable so walked straight back out. Was a shame!

Seems like it has a nice stock from photos hence two stars but they have poor customer service for web orders. Placed an order and heard nothing for three weeks after the initial confirmation email despite politely emailing to enquire. Just received a refund out of the blue with no explanation let alone apology which I found quite unprofessional

I do not recommend shopping online here. I bought something in Dec 2021 which turned out to be out of stock. I decided to wait until it was back in stock after Christmas rather than get a refund. However since then I have not received the items and called / emailed repeatedly to get clarity and request a refund. I was refunded half the value of my purchase without any explanation in February. As of April I am still trying to recover the remaining 30 of my purchase.

I was delighted to find this lovely shop when I visited Uppingham recently. Beautifully fitted out the shop contains lovely items for the home and many gift ideas. Well worth a visit along with the many other independent shops Uppingham has to offer.
