I am totally reliant on my powered wheelchair and found the cottage to be the best equipped accommodation that I have ever stayed in away from home. The very large downstairs bedroom gave me very easy access and the adjoining wet room with shower, wc, handbasin and a lovely spa bath (which unfortunately I couldnt use due to my disability) were more than adequate. The owners, Mr and Mrs Luther had thought of everything. In an upstairs cupboard, my family found many other items of disability equipment should I have needed it.e.g. A hoist, monkey pole, hand aid grabbers, long shoe horn, a manual wheelchair, an alternate shower chair, a perch stool, lap trays etc. etc.. The rest of the family were also very impressed with their facilities and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable cottage, even down to the beautiful lemon drizzle buns that the owners granddaughter had made to welcome us. A beautiful cottage in a wonderful location of Buckden in the Yorkshire Dales, which I would recommend to anyone, able bodied or disabled.
