We stayed in the Studio (while walking the Dales Way), which is in a stunning Dales location, tastefully designed and very nicely furnished. However on entering the studio it does feel quite dark, due to the fact that there is only one (north facing) window in the living area. Skylights would have made such a difference! The living room/bedroom window is permanently locked shut, which resulted in a stuffy room during the night, that we could only ventilate by trying to get some air in through the bathroom window. Another annoying feature is that the extractor fans in the kitchen and bathroom are always on whenever the lights are on. Freya, kindly shopped for us, which was waiting for us when we arrived : thank you... But in the kitchen there were no tea bags in the jar or kitchen roll on the holder which would have been nice to have. Please be careful on the access steps, as they are very slippery when wet!
