Went there for my first hair cut in Yorkshire since moving house. It was closest to my home, and I wanted to suppirt a local business over an independent chain. You get a warm, friendly reception here, and the whole process was relaxing and pleasant, and the general quiet of the location and the very sensible decision to not have music pumping so loud you can't hear yourself think was a welcoming change. While I didn't quite get the haircut I wanted - I always have a graduated bob, after years of experimentation - because I would usually have the gradient a bit steeper, but there's often a house way of doing things, and this cut fell within the definition. That said, it was a good cut and has grown out well, too, hence the 5 stars. I'll definitely be going back.
