We had a wonderful stay with Amelia and Ed this weekend. Enjoyed a long but wet walk but soon got warm by the log burner. Amelia transported us to Morocco with her amazing evening feast. Gorgeous flavours, a real gastronomic treat. Rooms are equipped with very comfortable beds. We were made to feel most welcome by Ed, Amelia and Lucca the dog. We hope to return. Thank you

Quite possibly the nicest place we've ever stayed, Amelia and Ed were extremely hospitable and made us feel welcome into there home. We loved the two dogs too. The cooking class was brilliant, we learnt some very tasty Italian dishes and can't wait to start cooking them again. The accommodation was very comfortable, super clean and and peacefully quiet, Breakfast the next morning was amazing and is the best I've ever had. The homemade bread/toast and was perfect. We will visit again for sure. Thank you for a unforgettable experience.

Dear Amelia and Ed, Better later than never! Thank you for making our recent family mini-break such a wonderful event. Your warmth, your food, your attention to every detailWhat was there not to like?! We are already discussing our next visit. In the meanwhile, however, stay well and pass on our best wishes to Luca if he still remembers us Yours, Yuri and the family

What a lovely place. The setting is quiet, beautiful and host were extremely friendly. Amelia's cooking/chef skill is first class and presented very homely meeting Hubby Ed and friendly dog Lucca. You feel like a long lost friend invited to dinner, it really is that warm & inviting. The room we stayed in was lovely & clean. The shower screen needs to be larger to prevent excess water covering bathroom floor. Everything else was perfect. Highly recommend a stay here. Lovely.

We (4 of us) stayed and Amelia and Ed's accommodation for one night as part of a walking holiday. Amelia and Ed (not to forget Lucca the dog! ) were so welcoming and relaxed. The room (family room) was huge for just the two of us, but beautifully appointed with a kitchenette perfect/supplied with tea/coffee/milk. Amelia cooked dinner for us which was incredibly fresh and of course all home made. It was ample in choice and quantity (Amelia also catered for different dietary requirements too). Packed lunch the next day was definitely not your run of the mill options, again everything well thought out and individual like dinner the night before. When were in the area with some friends who regularly stay in the dales and have specific mobility requirements, Amelia was very open/welcoming for us to visit to view again. Littondale is one of my favourite dales and now we have an even stronger reason to re-visit some time!
