Absolutely gorgeous experience for a weekend away in Yorkshire. Homely hosts who provided a full English breakfast (included in price), catered to our Halal diet, have a beautifully clean and cosy house - our room had a good sized bathroom with kettle, hairdryer, TV, coffee etc. Great place for walks, getting lost in the village and a drive away from local towns and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Pleasant enough. Polite service from the young man. Does takeaway menu or sit outside at the front under the canopy. No indoor seating. It's cash payment only, unless you are spending over 10, then you can pay on card. No access to inside, so there are no loo facilities, but it is only just opposite the car park, which does have a loo block. Hot chocolate was good and the double egg butty was big and filling. Gets served in foil. Would nip here again when next in the village. Busy today as the Scarecrow Festival is on.
