        Worth calling in if you are passing by. There are various carved pew ends which are interesting and not obvious when just looking casually at the church. Near the entrance door youll find the Mermaid, together with a short explanation. Various animals feature, some requiring a little imagination.

        This is a fine Norfolk church with much to see. There is a 14th Century font and late 15th Century nave benches. The carved bench ends include the Sheringham mermaid who holds a comb and mirror. There is also a bench end of cat holding a rat in its mouth. The spandrels on the rood loft are worth seeing.
