Dementia Active

Our mother has been attending Dementia Active three times a week for over a year now since being diagnosed with Vascular dementia . Mum has settled in well and we noticed a significant decline when covid closed the group for some months. Andy ,Melissa and the whole team cannot do enough, they are patient, caring and accommodating . We never worry about Mum when she goes to the sessions as we know she is well looked after and we know she loves every minute. We would be lost without your support , Thank You !

My father was diagnosed with alzheimer's in January 2020, he gets very anxious about going out, but then we found Andy and Dementia Active!! He really enjoys his Thursday's with the Banbury group, it really has helped to get him out and gives him something to look forward to! The sessions are very well organised and packed with fun activities. I would absolutely recommend. Andy and Melissa are just brilliant with all the attendees, hats off to them both for their compassion, energy and drive, I don't know where we would be without them.

A wonderfully safe, friendly, welcoming and happy place. So reassuring to know that our family member is being entertained and looked after. From the first visit it was clear Andy and Mellissa (and the rest of the team) are totally professional in their conduct, gentle and understanding, their members are their priority. They clearly have a lot of fun and laughter too. This group has been a Godsend to the whole family. The group was recommended by a friend who lived locally at the time and we are so grateful that Dad is able to attend. He clearly enjoys himself each week.
