Island Court Care Home

My mom spent seven weeks at Island Court, August/September 2022, while recuperating from a fall. The caring staff were excellent and mom thoroughly enjoyed the experience and made some new friends. On returning home, the manager, Claire, suggested that mom could return any time she wished to see her friends. She has been a regular visitor since this time and is always made to feel very welcome. This provides mom with a social outlet which would otherwise be unavailable to her. I cannot thank Claire and the staff enough for their help and support. To everyone at Island Court THANK YOU!

My father went to Island Court from the hospital for end of life care and have to say the staff were wonderful, there was genuine care from everyone and they made my father's final days as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much.

Mom spent 7 months on step down care here. After taking sometime to settle, she was treated well by the care team during the days. Manager (C) and administrator (L) were very approachable and couldnt fault the help we received if we had queries. Helped manage a difficult time for us, altering meals and stepping in when NHS didnt send physio support after 3 requests. Only downside is staff are always very busy and sometimes things take longer, but overall a friendly and approachable team. Alex and Dec- have patience of saints and their having a sense of humour is useful. Thank you for all of your help with Mom

Manager very approachable .Staff very caring. Highly recommend. Clean home with no nasty smells .Residents given choice .
