Martlets Cattery

It is clear Lisa and co are very cat people and are highly experienced. The cattery itself is exceptionally clean and of a high standard, at any time of the year before covid rules I entered it was warm and inviting with more than enough facilities. They are more than happy to suit the needs of the animals and provide their favourite food. A well filled in form and up to date vaccination record and there will be no problem whatsoever. Having used this cattery numerous times I have no hesitation in returning in future and recommending it to anyone. Oscar is eighteen now and has been going there for a few years for a week or two, he comes back happy and healthy every time.

Wonderful place. The staff are so lovely and caring. My cat goes here everytime I'm away and I have no worries about him while I'm gone. Xx

Very helpful and friendly owner and service. The runs are sparkling clean and all the animals look well looked after. Price is reasonable, cat was very well looked after, lots of attention paid, not sure he wanted to leave!

I cannot recommend martlets cattery highly enough! This was the first time we had used a cattery and the first time our young cat Blippi had been away from his owners and we were very nervous. Martlets cattery immediately relieved our concerns when we spoke to them for the first time. Both Lisa and Trevor were both very reassuring and their knowledge on cats is clear to see. We were required to fill out very detailed forms regarding Blippi and his preferences and routine. Lisa was very open for communication and sent us lovely emails during blippis stay to reassure us he was ok and giving specific information about his day and what he had been up to. Lisa and Trevors love and care for cats cannot be questioned and Blippi has returned home clean, happy and as if he hadnt of been away! Thank you so much to martlets cattery we are very satisfied and will definitely return to them in future if needed! Dean & Tanisha

I posted a review two years ago about Martlets Cattery, which you will probably see in the reviews. I was shocked to read Lisa Blakes review about this cattery. I have been using Martlets for more years than I can remember and never once have I doubted the love and care that (Lisa), the lady that owns it and her family have for each and every individual cat in their care. They have cared for a number of cats that I've had over the years and have always bent over backwards to accommodate each and every one of thems' individual needs. May I suggest that if anyone has a nervous cat, that has never been left in a cattery before, then they should ask if they can perhaps try them for a day or two to see how they get on. That way, if the cat cannot cope, then the owners are at home, on hand, to collect them immediately, to save their pet from any type of trauma or suffering due to being away from home. I will continue using Martlets, for as long as I have a cat that needs boarding, when I have to go away.
