Temon Farm Milk Barn

Called in on the return journey to Newcastle from Kendal after spotting the signs by the side of the road as we needed milk, and had discussed supporting local business more. Bought a 1ltr bottle of milk which is delicious. Great fun figuring the vending machines out and seeing the lambs in the barn was a bonus ! Very noisy . This will be a regular stop off as we travel the A69 now and next time I'll be better prepared to get more milk.

Im so lucky to have this on my mums doorstep!! We visit all the time for milk, milkshakes and ice cream and got to say mint choc chip is a family fave!!! We visited today as they had an open family fun day at the farm and my daughters loved it! We got to meet and feed the lambs, have a wander around the farm, did a treasure hunt and played in the straw pit they had built! Ross and Elaine who run the farm are lovely and very welcoming!! We cant wait for the next open day as Izzy cant stop talking about it!!!

Dropped in (quite literally... couldn't catch a bus...kind farm owner took pity and drove us into Brampton! ). Never bought fresh milk in a vending machine ...it was delicious!
