Our recent trip with Spirit of Remembrance tours on their 2018 ANZACs Remembered trip was everything and more than we expected. From our initial inquiry to the culmination at the Anzac Day dawn service at Villers Bretonneux was extremely well organised. The responses to our inquiries, the accommodation, transport and meals were A+. Our tour guides Frank and Simon were very professional, providing information not just on the battle sites and memorials visited but also the objectives and strategies of the battles making them very real so we could envisage what the soldiers faced. They were very accommodating to tour members who had special connections with some of the sites visited, allowing them to have input and explain their connection, making it very personal. An absolutely excellent tour that I recommend to anyone thinking of doing a WWI trip. A very special thank you to Graham and Nikki for organising the tour and the personal touch of dropping in during the tour was especially appreciated.

My mother and I travelled with Spirit of Remembrance on their 2018 'Anzacs Remembered' tour. The culmination of this tour was attending the 100th anniversary Dawn Service at the Australian War Memorial at Villiers-Bretonneaux. The tour was absolutely wonderful and so professionally organized. Our tour leaders, Frank and Simon were extremely knowledgeable and added an energetic sense of realism to all the sites we visited. This trip was quite significant for us, especially my 76 year old mother, so we could visit the many sites and places of battle where her grandfather had fought in 1917/1918. For me, it was being able to set foot in the places I had read so much about in history books and taught to students for so many years. Our transport, accommodation and meals on this tour were all A++. I would definitely recommend Spirit of Remembrance for anyone thinking of touring the Western Front Battlefields. Thank you Graeme and Nikki for a truly memorable experience.
