Bought my first car from here for 1,500, the first ever mot that Ive had to pay for cost me 850 due to the fact the back axle had infact disconnected from the front of the car! I have since gone to scrap the car and now also found out that I was sold a CAT C car without being told about it or it being advertised. Please be wary.

Good selection of cars. Initially pleasant to deal with. Somewhat disorganised and there is an engine problem on my car which they have known about from day one but have failed to resolve. They seem to lose interest after a few weeks. Contact is haphazard merging in to non existent. One mobile number, no email. If you are unfortunate and your vehicle has issues you may be given the number of the After Sales Manager. Unfortunately After Sales Manager is a misnomer; also swearing is never good PR, perhaps they don't teach that these days? If you do have problems they apparently only have only one very small courtesy car so patience is a virtue. If in the lottery of buying a used car and you choose R and H Motors and then if in that lottery your car has a problem ( which in the used car business should really not be that unexpected ) and subsequently dealing with those issues should really be in the business model of any company selling them then you will probably think that perhaps you should have gone somewhere else. However if you are lucky and your new used car has no problems then you will probably be satisfied with the service. Buying a used car is a game of chance and as shown by all the other reviews here the odds are approximately 3 out of 4 times you will probably be OK if you buy from R and H Motors , but if you are one of the unlucky ones and a problem exists or arises don't expect a swift or professional resolution ( if you even get a resolution) - my advice is to lower ones expectations! I now wish I had read these reviews first, I would have been better prepared for my disappointment. Good luck! 26/01/2023 Update : I have just been on the phone to them and if you do need any after sales help you will apparently need to wait until the end of March (when Neil the boss man gets back from Portugal ) before anyone there is capable enough to help you with after sales. I will try Small Claims and will update on any outcomes of that.

Awful people, their cars often have issues. Over paid for mine, still broken down days later. They argued and refused to refund saying they had more of a right to repair which is nonsense. Left me with no choice but to repair, took 2 weeks. Week later it Had leaks and all sorts. Still refused a refund. its just one guy salleing and a another doing repairs with one phone that they don't answer and the guy even when they are open a isn't there for days. Unless you go through the legal channels they won't expect wanting a refund. Others have had to wait weeks and months for one. Hopefully the cars fine now but I hate having to use it now because it's proved to be unreliable.
