Easter Sunday was the evening I chose to stay here, everything about the place was to be expected of an old pub and hostelry, however. The Staff where having a late night drinking session which went on until 00:45. This was directly below my room, and a set of 5 bangs on the floor brought a swift end to it. The shocker was the following morning! Clearly hungover the Eastern European female member of staff was unattractive to the guests fetching out wrong breakfast orders etc. When challenged at the behaviour during the night its Easter Sunday was the excuse. When challenged further, she then played the Im intimidated by your size, and I feel threatened, clearly witnessed by the other patrons, and clearly a feeble excuse for shoddy behaviour and a matching attitude. Unfortunately for this reason alone I would not recommend this establishment, and surprisingly Ill not be returning!
