I had a fantastic experience on the combined Swim England Level 1 and 2 course. We got lots of practical experience and the tutor Dan was extremely patient, constructive and honest with us. Everyone in our group learnt so much and we've taken away fantastic memories. I would highly recommend learning with B.A.T. Thank you again!

My son was initially very happy in his swimming class at fitness first, Whitefield, a little unsure to start with, but after plenty of gentle persuasion by the swimming teacher, he got involved, he would do everything asked of him and even duck under the water. Then After being with the swim teacher for over 2 courses, I asked about his progress as other, less confident swimmers were getting certificates, and because it had not been filled in online. I'm glad I asked, he still didn't know my son's name, so couldn't fill it in away from the class. After A few weeks of asking, he said he had filled it in, but hadn't, then, at long last, he finally gave him a well deserved duckling level 1, 2 and 3, then level 1 two weeks later. Then, after now being moved into the early swimmers class my son is expected to swim strokes from the first lesson and swim with his face under the water. Now, extremely traumatised after being dragged down to the bottom, in a supposed game, he has been frightened to death by the massive change. He was not asked to swim with his head under the water at all in the foundation class. I changed the swimming teacher after my son wouldn't even get in the pool, seeing other children also leaving the pool crying I'm not surprised he was still put off and now being told he needs to move down again back to the foundation class. His new teacher was fine, but his previous teacher, who was next to his new class in the pool, was constantly telling his new teacher that he couldn't do it, move him down, be-littling my child, when he could hear it, which made him all the more upset. In my experience, the swimming teachers have no patience, and can't even consider the feelings of a 4 year old child, disgusting! So disappointed!
