Croft House Holiday Cottages

We spent our honeymoon at Croft Corner. On arrival there was a complementary tray of tea, coffee and cake. There was also fresh flowers, a box of chocolates and a card congratulating us for our wedding. A very lovely personal touch. It exceeded all our expectations. The lounge, bedroom and bathroom are more spacious than they look on the website. The cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The private garden is beautiful and the view of skidaw and the surrounding fells is stunning. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at Croftside during September this year and had the perfect stay. It is in the quietest of locations yet still close to Keswick and so many walks nearby with only a short drive. The house was very comfortable and because the bedrooms and bathrooms were two floors apart, we felt we had privacy with the communal area in the middle. Each floor has wonderful views over the surrounding hills and it was a tranquil haven. There was a lovely private garden area with table and chairs which would be lovely in drier weather!! Ample space to park two cars in the yard. Jan made us really welcome upon arrival and had made the house very Covid friendly so we felt relaxed and safe. The welcome tray was great. After that, we hardly saw them but knowing they were next door to deal with anything that may arise, was comforting. We felt happier dealing with an owner than a company and this was one reason we chose to book Croftside. The week was rather wet but with the washing machine and drying room attached, we could dry our clothes and boots overnight. It was very cosy. There was plenty of space to hang clothing and keep belongings. We decided not to eat out and the kitchen was very well equipped and made self catering easy. We will definitely stay at Croftside again and look forward to returning.
