Walked from Keswick (on the main road unfortunately) but once I got into the forestry, it was absolutely amazing. Loved every second. Fairly easy route. Highly recommend.

A great little Wainwright that is very accessible as it is lower than a lot of Wainwrights (502m) set on a 'tump' in the middle of a forest. Good paths to the top and the surrounding views are gorgeous especially on a sky blue day like I had. Super views that only get better too if you are going higher up to Skiddaw.

A bit of a climb for the inexperienced but the rewards are simply breath taking.
