Not enough parking for patients! I'm a volunteer and was helping someone from the charity I volunteer for to get to her hospital appointment. The plan was to drop her off, then park and meet her for support during the appointment. I never got to park because the visitor car park was so full that people were parking in places not fit for parking. I drove around and around about 6 times and finally gave up. I ended up waiting in my car on a residential street nearby where all spaces were resident's permits only. It is ridiculous to think that I wasn't able to give support because there were no legal parking spaces. Luckily the next appointment is at another hospital.

New parking machines seems confused after I enter the registration number. Selecting that it's not the correct number appears to be the only option. It's unclear how you select that its the correct number. Does anyone test the menu options before the machines go live?? The signs showing the tariffs and telephone and app details are sited very high on posts, approx at 7 - 8 feet above ground level which is too high for anyone in a wheel chair or short people. The machine located inside the main entrance just has an A4 sheet stating that it's out of service. The sign showing the tariffs & contact details us not there, The reception staff are not interested in parking payment problems and refer you to Pals but Pals say it's nothing to do with them and to speak to reception. Does anyone at Barnet Hospital takes responsibility for helping patients pay for parking and avoid penalty charges. Signs should not be so high you can't read them and menu progression on the machines should be logical.
