Mathew has maintained our gardens and communal areas for a number of years to a very high standard. This year Mathew painted the outside of the building and hallway and also undertook repairs to some brickwork We are overjoyed at the difference it has made to our building well done Mathew and the team particularly Arron who made sure it was spotless at the end of every day

We have had a really bad experience using Matt Alderman's company for cleaning and gardening at our block of flats, over a period of about two years. The job was very simple - essentially clean a communal stairwell fortnightly and mow/maintain two small patches of grass and a few bushes. From the beginning I had my doubts about whether they were actually attending as regularly as they were supposed to. The quality of the cleaning in particular was also extremely poor - you could never really tell it had been cleaned - unlike with our previous cleaner, a local lady, who used to do a great job and leave the place sparkling. Once or twice when I was at home when they visited, I observed that it appeared to amount to nothing more 5-10 minutes hoovering the hall and stairs. For this we paid over 80 a month. As for the gardening, sometimes they would mow the lawn but still leave large pieces of litter lying in the garden! On one occasion, we paid a substantial sum for Matt to "remove" some bricks from our car parking area. He simply moved them from one end of the car park to the other, where they lay for months before he finally agreed to come and take them away (after many many requests for him to do so). I have complained about the service many times over the two years, and given this company chances to improve, but it has not got any better. I took the attached photos immediately after our most recent "clean" last week, - as you can see the place was still basically filthy (dirty stair handrails and floor), and despite having "hoovered" they did not even bother to pick up some post on the floor! I have also tried over the past year to get the contractors to use a sign-in sheet, so that I can monitor attendance, and this has finally provided proof that at times we have been charged when no visits actually took place (I suspect this has been going on throughout the time we've been working with them). We've also asked for before and after photos so we can see what's been done, but these have never been provided. On the most recent visit, the cleaners actually added four backdated entries to the sheet stretching back over a month - obviously this isn't how it's supposed to work! Matters finally came to head this week when I supplied the attached photos to our managing agents as proof, at last, that things are not up to scratch. Instead of trying to improve his service, Matt Alderman has simply decided to resign from servicing our building. I don't normally write reviews but our experience has been so disheartening I feel it is only right to do so. I only wish we'd sacked them sooner.

Matthew and his team have undertaken numerous waste disposable projects over the last 5 years or so and Ive found them to be nothing less than professional. I look forward to continuing the relationship going forward.
