Very rude and old fashioned pharmacist who advised me to purchase cough medicine when 27 weeks pregnant. After some research and a second opinion I found that its actually not ok to take. I tried to return and was met with a rude man who would not refund me. Will not return

Unhelpful pharmacist. Would not help me obtain a certain brand of drug said he was short staffed even though it was 1 phone call I asked them to make.

What a shame, great looking building with loads of character and a great position, unfortunately that's where the magic ends. Customer service is nil, there never seems to be any counter staff. Four customers left before myself today without being served. This seems to be normal practice in this chemist, when you eventually get someone from the rear of the chemist it seems your imposing.

Came from Broughton-in-Furness to get bandages and tape for my FIL who had recently fallen over. Staff excellent and got all supplies we needed. There should be more chemists like this in places like Coniston - Lake District has a shockingly low supply of basic medical supplies.
