CAMP Cumbria

We really had high hopes for this we used the North camp as it was closer to where we live. We have plenty of lakes round here but they didn't go to any for activities apparentlyits just the south camp only. My little girl (aged 8) was looking forward to water activities! But stayed in a school yes they went on a Friday trip out but while at the base camp (school) the activities were boring and a stand in supervisor was very unpleasant. I saw and heard her while collecting she wasn't very nice at all, my little girl didn't like her and was happy when she wasn't there. If they went to one of the lakes to do activities then we would put more stars. Overall very disappointed. CASS is much better and you know what your getting.

Son didnt seem impressed. He's 9 years old and felt the activities were to young for him. The cooking sessions were making a fruit face on a plate! Building a den and making a tree out of sticks also not a great 9 year old activity. They didnt go on a day trip either but the north camp did. And didnt have a party on last day.all advertised on the schedule of what they do. And the changing facilities weren't great so he didnt want to go in lake when able. He went with 3 friends who all said the same. He wasn't impressed at all. What was ment to be a memorable week turned out to be pretty boring on his part.
