OUBAS

I was gifted a beautiful scarf which I adore and get so many compliments on. Oubas is such a great find I will definitely be placing an order of my own. If you support in a small business you invest in not just high quality (which in this case is unfaultable) but in someone's venture and I love that.

Beautiful range of natural dyed, woven fabrics. I was bought a lovely moss green jumper and it is the most comfortable, warm jumper I've ever had. Looks really nice on, good fit and I have received lots of compliments wearing it thus far! Love the scent the jumper is washed in. 100% recommend if you're looking to buy someone a special, local handmade gift.

Im a little delayed writing the review but here goes. Fabulous. As simple as that. If youve time to read on .. I bought a burnt orange edge to edge open front waterfall style of cardigan and absolutely love it. I understand why the cost is higher than department stores which is part of the love , but my main point is these are lifetime pieces and cost per wear will be a winner Fab team at Oubas too x

I used Oubas for my mothers Christmas present 2021. After spending much time reviewing sizes and consulting with my mother, I went for the medium. I had wanted to buy British for everyone this past Christmas; I was very excited about this present, especially as my mother had seen the jumper and told me how beautiful it looked. Disappointed does not even begin to describe my feelings towards this purchase. The jumper has no fit, it is like a tent. It is far too big for my mother, so I tried it on myself being a size larger than her (the largest size recommended for this jumper) and even on myself it was a mess. It fits like a sack. The arms are very short. The body is short and is not in any way flattering. There is a pull to front of the jumper and a white blob of wool which is rather obvious on the brown both to the front of the jumper. Having emailed the business owner, they have stated that I have to pay to return the item. The item is defective. Surely return should be free, as they sent me a defective item. However, as I do not want an exchange the company will not offer a free return. The items are overpriced. The sizing chart is way off, so be prepared to waste money returning items. The knit is scratchy and has a horrible scent to it (my mother thought someone else had worn it). The customer service is dire. I shall never use this company again and would definitely not recommend them.
