St Mary's Mount Manor

The Stables are gorgeous self catering apartment with 3 large bedrooms a massive lounge and splendid fully equipped kitchen. Each bedroom has king sized bed and a sumptuous bathroom. One even has a whirlpool bath. Location is awkward in a large car with narrow gateway best entered in reverse. The approach is along narrow streets with parked cars Ulverston is a nice town with narrow streets clogged with local traffic but the main road passes the centre and is wide and free flowing. I loved it.

Hotel took full payment (2 weeks before Christmas) 6 months before our stay booked for July. The booking contract was pay on arrival with no prepayment. They gave no warning that they were taking payment. They did not answer my emails asking for a refund. They didnt answer the phone. I cancelled in mid January thinking I would be refunded quickly. To date still no refund. No reply to emails. Still not answering the phone.

Absolutely stunning setting and beautiful cottage.Perfect facilities for a family get together and loved every minute .Only faults were cold water tap in kitchen broken so took ages to try to turn off,sometimes just wouldn't stop.Also fell on rug on a polished floor,which slid from under me when I walked across it,definitely needs securing Otherwise absolutely loved it
