Town House B&B

Cant rate the Town House B&B enough. Spacious, beautiful and very clean rooms, with excellent provision of tea and coffee making facilities - and water! The hosts are so kind and welcoming too, and the choice of breakfast is outstanding. Thats not all: the B&B is brilliantly situated in the centre of Ulverston and a very easy walk from attractions like the Laurel and Hardy museum, and a plethora of pubs and shops. Would definitely stay again!

Cost the two of us 80 quid for one night. The room was spacious with a 'double' bed and a single. The double bed was two singles pulled together so you couldn't actually sit in the middle. The bathroom light was faulty and took a good 30 seconds to turn on. Was made aware of this by the owner. The bath was full of hair and dust and the shower mat was pretty grimy. Room came with all working anemities. Breakfast was also nice. Owners were polite but very uninvolved. Overall I think the room was outdated and not worth the price although I understand why the price was so high as it was in the centre of ulverston.

We spent a relaxing break at the Town House and the hosts, Jan and David could not have been more accommodating. Room was spacious and comfortable with a location right in the centre of town. First place we've been where you can bring in a takeaway and still use the dining room in peace and quiet. For a small B & B in the Lakes it is very reasonably priced and the choice of breakfast is amazing. Will definitely return.
