I can't recommend Dave enough! He helped me out by removing some pedals when I didn't have the strength/knack to do it (with no judgement at my lack of skill) and was even reluctant to take payment! Super friendly, fast response to messages,extremely accommodating and helpful. If we weren't moving out of the area then I would definitely be returning to Dave for all our bike services. I decided my bike needed someone experienced to take a look at it and give it a service / once over after owning it a few years now, and having had a bad experience with a Halfords repair last year I wanted to try someone local. I came across Dave via a quick google maps search, had a look at his website and understood what he offers, and dropped him a message via the online form on his site. Dave was very quick to respond, asked me a couple of questions regarding the bike, and then we booked it in with him. Communication was great, very responsive, and once he had my bike and taken a good look at it he gave me a call to run through his suggested works, and provided me with costs to inform my decision. I found his costs very reasonable, and he fully explained each and every one piece of work he would undertake, taking time to explain it to me in a manner I could fully understand (and he was very patient!), so I was more than happy to proceed. Once we had agreed the works and he commenced them, he came across a further issue with the rear wheel, he called me to discuss and provided me options. We agreed the extra works and he completed it very quickly, and even offered to deliver my bike back to my house since he was heading out to a nearby village that day. In summary, Dave is a pleasure to deal with, he knows his stuff and is more than happy (and patient) to explain the works, and he also provided me with plenty of great tips and advice for maintenance which I found really helpful. If you need any bike repairs or advice then I would highly recommend Dave.
