        Went to the loos here. Paid cash 50p. On the way out I pressed the green button as requested several times and it didnt work. I had to scramble out under the turnstile. I am 66 and found it very tricky an older person would have been stuck. Very scary experience.

        Closed at the time of arrival but seemed to be clean and tidy, easily accessible and no doubt choc full of information. Good map externally giving sound advice if tackling Helvellyn.
