Where do I start. Without going into too much detail. DO NOT BOOK. This place really needs to close which is sad to say as I had stayed here years ago and it was fab. Our bedroom was warm once we found where to put the heating on. The rest of the Inn was cold. Jamie was a friendly mine host but we got a feeling that he just doesn't want to be there. The old gentleman in the evening brought logs for the fire. Breakfast... We were offered cereal but no idea how long the stuff had been sitting in the jars. So we refused also totally refused breakfast next morning. We did have good sleeps. But this was the only good thing. We had booked the room with the view of Blencartha which we didn't get. So many other things I could go on about. We were the only guests in the Inn which was also strange considering other coaching inns close by were mobbed. This property needs an enthusiastic couple with great drive and a flare for conversation and detail. I reckon this place could be good again. But when mine host sits with his jacket on the whole time it doesn't make you feel relaxed. One other thing which did concern me was that the first night back of 11 the fire alarm went off with Jamie apologising saying it was sensitive so he then proceeded to turn the whole alarm off. Our safety gone right out the window. I wouldn't have that would have been allowed. No more rants no point. Just don't book.
