        Morris and Judith are excellent hosts and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and at home - especially since it was the first time we travelled during covid-19. We were free to make our own breakfast which meant we weren't restricted by time and could get up as early or late as we liked, and the evening meals were great. The Rectory is in a great location, easy to access but peaceful and surrounded by stunning local walks to suit all fitness levels. Highly recommend a stay here.

        We have received such a warm and friendly welcome from Morris and Judith on our 3 night stay. In the heart of the most picturesque part of the Lakes in Patterdale with Aira Force just a few minutes drive away. Our room was more than comfortable and we had such a good night's rest throughout our stay. The food is homely fayre and delicious. We would very highly recommend this lovely B &B. A place we would most definitely return to.
