Anthony Webb Brickwork

Anthony built a replacement garden wall, 28 metres long X 2 high, which he started in January 2016 and finished at the end off February. A year later when the wall started showing signs of failing mortar, I employed a surveyor to report on the wall. His report said that apart from the wall needing repointing, it also should have had more pillars especially at the end, the wall was not straight and was not upright and the expansion gap was not clear through the wall. This summer, I asked Anthony to come and inspect the wall for repointing, he arrived promptly and said that as he had built the wall he would repoint it and only charge his labour as it had lasted 5 years. I pointed out that I had a surveyors report dated 2017 and so he then agreed to do all the work foc. Needless to say he did not come and do the work, it looks as if I will have to get a "proper" brick layer in. We found Anthony cheerful but a very messy worker, I spent my Saturdays clearing up the mess he had left on the public path. I realise that this is a very negative review, the wall can be seen at the junction of Southgate rd and Shrubote rd. TN30 7BS

Anthony came highly recommended and for good reason. Very pleased with the work he carried out. He's reliable, friendly and the work was to a high standard. Will certainly be having him back for our next project

Thank you Anthony for rebuilding my ragstone wall which fell down in the awful weather we have had. It looks like it has always been there. Anthony is very polite, prompt and hard working. Ive had many jobs done over the years by Anthony and they are always to a high standard and quality finish. I would highly recommend him.

Anthony is courteous, quick and clean on site. He is friendly but professional. His work is excellent. He has worked for us and family and friends, all of whom rate his work highly. I would highly recommend him.
