Unfortunately I have to concur with the other reviewer that the customer service is inadequate. The store clerk didn't know how to to communicate with me, the customer, and maintain basic etiquette. Unnecessarily curt and unfriendly.

Needed a new watch battery installed 5 days before Christmas 2022....gave watch on Tuesday 20th Dec......gave my number in case of any problems...... returned to shop Friday 23rd..... shutters down and note saying staff illness. As at least 3 people work in this shop, I would have expected a phone call relating their problem at least suggesting an approximation as to when they would open. Someone was there to close up and had access to customers numbers but no attempt was made to contact me. As it happens, they didn't open till 3rd January after I'd made several futile trips wasting my time and fuel. In the end through persistent circular argument I was told there would be no charge....as it were just a couple of batteries, no great loss to the shop but I would hope my endurance in argument made them think that perhaps communication is more polite than a rather pathetic excuse of illness within 3 people and no thought to there customers at a sensitive time of year . Also using COVID-19 as an excuse as not wanting to spread to older customers does not excuse lack of communication by other means.

Good old fashioned service, friendly and great price for a mantle clock repair from someone who really seemed to know what they were doing and enjoyed it. Stock in shop looked good too.

I took a bracelet in to be mended, not only was it mended beautifully, it was cleaned and looked amazing. It is difficult to get anything done anywhere because of Covid making staff shortages but this shop went the extra mile for me. Highly recommended. A *****
