        We had window blinds fitted on 6 windows by Richard about 5 years ago. One of our grandchildren managed to cause one to fail! Notwithstanding it was our fault, Richard returned and sorted our problem out free of charge. This is the best after sales service we have ever experienced. We can certainly recommend Carvills Furnishings.

        Excellent selection of items in this lovely shop. Unfortunately not good if you have a pram or wheelchair as there are lots of different levels with steps. Not easy to get around.

        Visited Carvills this morning to look for some wallpaper, I had been looking forward to it all week as I loved this shop, I was told by an assistant I would need to make an appointment. I have worked in interiors all my life and never heard of that. We went to Brewers, we were allowed to look at all the books order as many samples as we liked free of charge and no restrictions.

        Fabulous place!! Really lovely staff. I'd highly recommend especially for gifts but I know that their speciality is home furnishings. Run by the same family since 1770.
