Would like to say a big thank you to Mann scaffolding for there prompt response to my phone call reporting some scaffolding boards that had moved on the building I live in I reported the loose boards on sat afternoon and they were able to send a team out on the Sunday morning as for the two comments moaning about the noise there ludicrous as obviously there was a danger to the public and this is more important than a Sunday lie in Would not ring any other scaffold company in the future as they were very professional from start to finish

Can confirm Jeffs review, I was also woken up to drilling that Sunday. The reply from Mann is incorrect and circles the main issue, which wasn't the radio (although thats pretty bad in of itself when its on a Sunday morning and more or less next to your bedroom window) but it was the copious amount of incredibly invasive drilling, which started around 8am. Furthermore, the wind conditions that day were fine, there was absolutely no reason to start so early and is wildly inconsiderate. I think most people, including myself would've understood if it had started a few hours later, and if the drilling itself wasn't in between people shouting up and down the scaffold. But that was the case. The management should know better than to let that happen. Edit to address the reply:- Its very obvious that the person replying was not there that day and has no interest in accepting that maybe the judgement was poor. The "communication" was not restricted to work, it included jokes and banter up and down the scaffold, as well as loud music later on. None of these are necessary, although I do understand that people want to banter sometimes at work. Just maybe not when they're a few yards away from other peoples bedroom windows on a Sunday morning. As to the "duty of public safety" - its curious that a few loose boards necessitates an 8am start and the removal of the whole scaffold by around midday, instead of simply fixing the apparent issue quickly and then giving the residents a few hours before going to town with the invasive noise. It seems everyone agrees that the Sunday was not windy, and I cant help but think it wouldn't have come crashing down if they had had a little consideration for the residents and held back for a short while. Any business owner with an ounce of credibility would take the bad feedback on the chin, maybe give an explanation and apology, and move on. But apparently not this one. As far as they're concerned, other peoples right to a bit of quiet on a Sunday morning is not their concern, and can be justifiably ignored so long as it was a windy day the day before. I don't think that's reasonable. To any readers looking at this that are considering Mann's services, consider the way the replies have been put forth, as its effectively just excuses and hand-waiving, and then wonder to yourself that if you use them and they mess something up, what will happen when you give that feedback to the management...
