Thornbury Residential Home

My nan has just moved into Thornbury residential home and it has far reached above and beyond everything we had hoped for. Her room is bright, comfortable and stylish, it has matching furniture and pretty curtains, bedding etc. The food is home cooked, fresh and varied. The staff are amazing, friendly, caring and nothing is to much trouble. There are activities most days for the residents to join in if they wish and even on quiet days a movie to watch in the lounge with homemade cake and tea. My family and I are all so grateful to Dee and her amazing staff for welcoming my clued up 101 year old nan with open arms and kindness. Absolutely 5 stars for this loving, family feel forever residential home.

My mother in law has been here 9 weeks and is extremely happy. The staff and management are wonderful - without exception. It would be impossible to single out anyone in particular. The food is very good indeed and the atmosphere there is relaxed and congenial.

My mother has been a resident at this home since December 2020. Dee, Sarah, Jo, Amber & Tabitha to name just a few members of staff have been absolutely outstanding with the love and care they have shown to our mum. If you are considering this home for a loved one don't consider anymore call Dee and ask for a bed! Your loved one will become a member of the Thornbury family and not just a number for their bed occupation. It is an outstanding residential home with care and support that goes way past above and beyond. You will not be disappointed with the care your loved one will receive. On behalf of my sisters and myself thank you Team Thornbury for all that you do - each and every one of you is a star in our book ***** :-)
