I came to The Lodge dental practice recently because I had a problem tooth and wanted an x-ray. Ian Goldsmith took me on as an emergency patient and duly x-rayed my right side of my mouth and found damage which needed attention! After consultation Ian was concerned that he could not help me due to me needing specialised dental care with possible resus equipment. I informed him that I had treatment at Guys hospital in the past and he very kindly contacted them and through a referral is arranging treatment. Ian was very kind and went above and beyond what was expected. Thanks to him and his team for listening and caring about my situation.

Ive been fortunate to know two great dentists in my life and Tim is one of those dentists. Ive also had the misfortune to have been treated by really bad dentists (bodged fillings, agonising injections). However, only by experiencing the bad do I know what excellent looks like. Thats why I can confidently and wholeheartedly endorse Tim with a five star review as a dentist who cares deeply about his patients and really doesnt stop until hes put his patients teeth in excellent order. Im not the most relaxed of patients but heres what puts me at ease in Tims dental chair: injections never hurt, fillings are painless, and issues will be spotted that have been overlooked by other dentists for years. I genuinely trust Tim to do what he feels is right for me. I just know that my teeth are quite literally in the best hands possible not just Tims but also those of the practices hygienist, Laura. I cant recommend The Lodge Dental practice highly enough. Thank you for saving and making my smile!

Tim Earl is "THE BEST DENTIST IN THE WORLD!" A sweeping statement some may think, but I am more than qualified to make it, as I have been around it's circumference....Multiple times! And visited many Dentists along the way, and none of them have matched up to Tim. I have been coming to The Lodge for 12 years now, & each time I have needed work to be done, the results have exceeded all my expectations. This time, I destroyed my own 6 front teeth, due to Vaping (Don't do it people!) and even though Tim tried to save them, the only way to go was 6 Front Crowns to be fitted. Tim reassured me all the way that the outcome would be amazing. And he meant it, as even though he knew I had driven 4 hours(Yes that's how good I think he is) to get them fitted, they were not, in his opinion, "Quite Right", so refused to fit them until the final tweaks he required had occurred. INTEGRITY is Tim's middle name, he could have just popped them in & sent me on my way, but instead, refused to accept anything less than total Perfection. My Forever smile is now a total joy & made me even more vain than I already was!! ;) I should add that his Team of Lovely Ladies compliment Tim's work ethic, even during the first Lockdown, Nicole took the time to call me on her own time & on her own phone to check on me, as I had cracked a tooth & was feeling very low. Over & above excellent Customer Care & Going that extra mile...for sure.. Honesty, Respect, Generates Total Trust, Keeps Promises, Open Communication & a Talent & Artistry WAY beyond all other Dentists that I have ever seen. I hope all your current residents still in Uckfield know what a total local treasure they have in 'The Lodge.' Thank You Tim & Your Crew..For Everything.! Amanda Drake.

Tim is the most fabulous dentist ever! He has integrity and great talent - meaning he wont tell you that you need loads of treatments thats not actually required. Im in my 50s and have never had a great dental experience and so it has be hugely refreshing to have experienced Tims expertise and kind and gentle approach. The best thing is that Tim has been able to give me the best teeth smile Ive had for years. I could not be more delighted. Thanks Tim and everyone - all staff are lovely there!
