The Croft Campsite

We had a lovely stay at the Croft Campsite over the Easter weekend. Our tent was on a non-electricity pitch that was nice and large with good space between us and the neighbouring tent. Guy actually moved us to a better pitch as he was concerned the one we were originally booked on was going to be a bit too wet - thank you! What a bonus to have a dog enclosure where our pups could run around off their leads! The Friday evening bbq was also really lovely and tasty. The shower and toilet facilities were great and kept very clean. The campsite even had an electric vehicle charging point, should we have needed to give our ev a boost. The site's location is also perfect for exploring and got us to the River Waverley in 30 minutes from where we wanted to do some kayaking. All and all a wonderful stay for these first time campers! A nice farm campsite with good facilities. EHU, water, waste etc. Good toilets and free unrestricted showers (washing sinks are not in cubicles though). Also good for children (a play area and a barn with table football and table tennis etc) and they have also provided half a dozen pedal gokarts. We did find it a bit noisy due to lots of children playing but to be expected. So, if you have kids it's perfect. If you want peace and quiet less so.

myself, partner and mum stayed for croft fest and it was absolutely fantastic! Guy and Maria are amazing and put so much time and effort and this really shows! They are super hosts and i cant wait to be back! Wonderful location and facilities! Thank you for having us and look forward to seeing you again soon. Jade, Adam, Tessa and Cocoa the waggy tailed doggy. xx
