I still shop at aldis though, I like a lot of the products that they sell. The aldi in Howdon, tynemouth Road, has just been refurbished. Looks really nice more spread out but the chilled produce is behind these doors, I keep missing things I want to buy as the shelves are higher and I can't see or reach, not that tall see. I did prefer the set out the way it was previously, guess il get used to the new way its set out and the big tall fridges. Think they could have put toilet in like Wallsend also. Local bus service stops right outside aldi and Howdon metro station is 5 minute walk away. I would come back and have recommended to family and friends. Aldi has accessible access and has accessible parking. It also has adult and child parking
Hasn't changed any apart from prices going up and up and up.
What's with these self service tills anyway. Don't agree with them as I think they put less staff on doing people out of jobs
