I would highly recommend Northern Star Stained Glass Studio in Whitley Bay. They went out of their way to find a piece of unusual glass for me, cut it to size, and fitted the piece within a very tight deadline and at short notice. Northern Star refurbished two stained glass windows in my Edwardian house - three panels of a bay window, and two panels of a window at a landing of the stairs. This was one of those rare occasions when the results of a job do not just come up to your expectations, but actually exceed them - the windows look as good as new, with the colours fresh and the quirky hand-made nature of the stained glass preserved. The installation was carried out to a high standard, and the firm was a pleasure to do business with. Strongly recommend! Update, Nov. '21: Return visit to complete refurbishment of ground floor glass - two large bay windows with stained glass panels. Results every bit as good as first time round, with stained glass work outstanding. The craftsmanship and workmanship from this company deserve every bit of the rating.

I am absolutely delighted with my new vestibule glass door from Northern Star. The brief was a contemporary design and colours and they have excelled my expectations. From the initial consultation, design, studio visit and through to installation, Bryan and his team have been very professional but very personal. I would highly recommend.

We cannot rate this company highly enough. I asked for something quite different and it was no trouble whatsoever. Both Bryan and Sophie were wonderful.
