Let me start by saying I rarely (if ever) leave reviews. Myself and my family have eaten all over the world and whether the meal was good, bad or indifferent, Ive rarely felt the mean to review a place or critique it. Michelangelos is about half a mile from our house. It should be the go-to cheap/quick Italians for our family. Having had some OK experiences in the past we decided to try it again for a quick lunch whilst my wife had an hour off from work. My god, the service here is hands down the worst weve ever encountered in any of our restaurant experiences. Rude, blunt, lazy, SLOW service throughout our 2 HOUR LUNCH. I cannot stress enough how poor the service is. You wait an ETERNITY to be served, an ETERNITY for a starter, an ETERNITY for your main & then an ETERNITY for your bill. This was a Tuesday lunchtime with 4/6 tables being served. I can understand if this was a 1 off or they were understaffed, but reading the recent reviews it seems its an occurring problem. I have no idea if the owners read these reviews. 1 - If you dont, Id recommend you start. 2 - If you do, please do something about it before you kill your business. The absolute worst part of it all is that the food is lovely, cannot fault it whatsoever but unfortunately we wont be trying it again there is new staff or new ownership. Terrible terrible customer experience.

We celebrated my dads 70th birthday at Michelangelos last night and wow! Everything was absolutely fantastic! The function room is beautiful, perfect place to hold a party. The buffet was incredible, in fact it was the best buffet I have ever experienced and all our guests agreed. The food was divine and we were surprised to see so much more on offer than we expected. Everyone was commenting that the lamb dish in particular was the best they had ever tasted. Then you had the staff, so friendly and attentive. They made sure everything went without a hitch and couldnt do more for us. Special thanks to Katie who made sure everything ran so smoothly! I cannot praise Michelangelos enough and 100% recommend this venue to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion.

I called for a reservation for the early bird menu meal, on the same day for my wife and I. I was told 5pm , turned up a little early but were made very welcome we sat a had a drink while our table was being set up, service and staff were 1st class and great value for money. it was nice to see a family friendly restaurant, Big YES from us. We will see you again. Food & drinks: Both food and drinks were very reasonable
