Great school, a joy to be part of. I enjoy all lessons and learn something new every day.

This place is like getting depression; it slowly eats away at you but no one fully understands how bad it is as it looks like nothing compared to other places so you're forced to just deal with the school being its terrible way

An honest review of kings priory school. Generally speaking the people who attend KPS are peculiar. Most people come from wealthy families so be prepared for snobbery. That being said if you have money and look pretty generic (ken/barbie) you will probably enjoy your stay; if you happen to come from a lower class (lower than upper middle class) you will dislike it here. The people here are so far up their own bottoms they don't have time for any different individuals. For myself I hated my experience at KPS and wish I had enrolled somewhere else (anywhere else, well maybe not heaton manor..), perhaps Newcastle college, QA or Whitley high. I had very few friends because I was an extremely awkward teenager, I wish some people just gave me a chance, including the teachers. The teachers have favourites. The favourites are rich and usually on the hockey/rugby team. The teaching is not great. Teaching: perhaps a 5/10, however everyone is terrified of being labelled 'dumb' or, well, I am sure you can imagine what language teenagers use to insult eachother and therefore you will find people can be very competitive in their studies (we are practically self taught). My poor punctuation and grammar should give you an insight into my schooling experience.. I am telling you from the bottom of my heart you would most likely benefit from going elsewhere. Oh, and there are about 10 non white people at KPS.
