My daughter attends Burradon and loves the school when asking her what she likes about the school her response was "it's fun not boring and I like all the teachers", as a parent this is reassuring and also knowing she's getting a good education too.

I am absolutely disgusted in this schools head and her deputy. It's ok for the deputy to shout at my grandson on many occasions to the point he is going home crying. This issue was raised to the head of school who would not do anything about it. She said the deputy was her friend and colleague and refuse to talk to her about the incidents. My daughter ask for the forms to put a complaint in. They gave her the form and also said she didn't want my granson there anymore as my daughter was putting a complaint in. Disgusting woman.

I spent a great deal of time researching and visiting schools when deciding where to send my son (and then daughter) and I am delighted that I chose Burradon. My kids love going to school here and they love learning and feel safe and this is down to the fantastic teachers. As ever at times there have been the odd issues but this has always been dealt with swiftly and I have been kept up to date. Keeping my children as the priority always - whether it is academic, behavioural or emotional. The school has a fantastic feel and I know they are not only doing well in their studies but enjoying them as well. If you are unsure about the choice as I was go and visit and speak to the kids - they are the important ones.
