The post mistress in Ryton Post office is rude and has no idea of correct customer service . It took a a drop and go medium package in yesterday that was on a pre 9am for delivery today a was desperately needed by my customer . I had measured it and weighed it to make sure the dimensions were correct . I was in the post office well before the shut off period of 4.45 . The pick up is not until 5.15 . She 1st told me off for putting it down in the wrong place . Then came out with her tape measure . She measured the length and said it was half a cm too long so she could not take it . She had her tape measure hanging over the side . I offered to take the corner packing off to make it smaller . This all went on for quite a while then she looks at the clock and says Im past the shut off time and she could not take it . I then went on a wild goose chase to blaydon and Team valley to no avail . Way to go helping small businesses in the current climate . Im now going to have to take a hit and pay for a same day courier . The most shocking customer service I have ever had

Terrible service! I have been told different information each time Ive been to send off my passport! Purely after your money and offer no help. Ive been back five times to sort my passport out and theyve been shut. Will not be going back I will have to find another post office now and have lost money because of their lack of communication
