We have just returned from Alaska on another amazing wildlife and photography experience with Trai and a really lovely group of like minded enthusiasts.
After being postponed twice due to international travel restrictions, we finally got there this year and it was well worth the wait.
Huge bears chasing salmon (and each other) - just yards away from us at times, but no worries about safety at all - or just striding out across the vast, stunningly beautiful, landscape. Humpback Whale, Orca, sea otters, glaciers, not to mention the whole Alaska experience, staying in hotels and a really comfortable lodge in the wilderness (fantastic food and local guides) and travelling around in small float planes. I have never taken so many pictures on a trip before!
As ever, Trai was a brilliant guide and great company. Her love of nature and of photography is infections and her passion for maintaining the highest possible ethical standards/respect for the wildlife makes her trips far more than just photographic holidays. Trai really could not have done more to make sure we enjoyed the trip, as well as providing invaluable tips on how to take (and process) the best possible photos to remind ourselves of where we have been and what extraordinary sights we have seen.
We can not thank you enough Trai for making this dream happen!
