5 stars because of the lovely pharmacist but awful experience with a counter assistant. I never write reviews but on this occasion I will because I believe a pharmacy should be a place that you can go too when you need genuine help or advice and not to be made like your asking god for a paracetamol. I know questions are needed to be asked by counter assistants and that is fine but I was spoken too and looked at like I was something the cat had dragged in. Please take my advice counter assistant at the pharmacy ! Dont judge people ! I came in for help ! Im a professional person and writing this on behalf of every other human being that might come for help. Not everyone will feel able to voice how you make them feel so I am doing it for them. Be nice it costs absolutely nothing ! People come to pharmacies for help and not to be looked at like arent deserving. Thank you to lovely pharmacist who looked at me as though I was an actual human being. Please do your job and remember the general public are being directed and encouraged to visit pharmacies before a GP, be someone and somewhere they can go too and approach without making them feel worse x x

First time I have used the NHS repeat prescription service and collected from my local Asda Boldon pharmacy, I have a long standing issue with my medication in that I require a specific brand as other "cheaper" brands simply do not work, many pharmacies seem to struggle with this concept and give me a lecture telling me them drugs are all the same. I rang the pharmacist at Asda to advise of this issue expecting the usual confusion but he was very understanding and knowledgeable, when I collected my item today everything was sorted and with correct brand. Excellent friendly service (thank you pharmacist for listening), I will be using Asda pharmacy from now on. Thank you and well done to all !
