At the time of writing - June 2022, I would not recommend anybody leave their loved one in this home. They are understaffed, there seems to be no leadership, definitely no 'handover policy', and your loved one will end up wearing other people's underwear. Whilst I appreciate it is a difficult time for establishments like this post Covid, we had to remove our loved one.

This care home is lovely all the staff treat my grandma with the respect and care that they would like for their relative. They have brought her out of her shell so much over the time she has been here and have helped her overcome alot while being with them. Cannot praise them enough.

I can not praise this care home enough, the care received by my mother in law(Marion) from day one has been exceptional to the point when my own mother needed care I looked for the same company near me, she moved in and we have not looked back. All of the staff "and I mean all" have a smile and a chat when we go in to visit, my mother in law said she feels she has a better social life with the staff than when she was at home need I say more. Keep up the good work Girls.

I would not recommend that anyone send a relative to this care home. My mum, who has dementia, was here for a while and we were so pleased to be able to get her out of there. The rooms were dark and dingy and were not kept properly clean, my mum was always sitting on her own in dirty clothes and one time I found her still in bed at 11.30am with dirty clothes lying on top of her. Only one member of staff would engage with me when I asked questions, the others would literally run away and a woman who I assumed was the home manager was very rude to me when I waited patiently outside her office to speak to her. At no point did any of the staff actively come to speak to me to let me know how my mum was doing or how she was settling in. The other residents appear to be sat in the day room most of the time in front of a very small TV, with little or no engagement with staff. The worst thing we saw here was when my sister went to visit my mum one day and found her in the day room with one of the carers asleep in the same room. The carer woke up at one point, looked at my sister and then went back to sleep with no concern at all that she had been spotted sleeping by a residents relative. Awful place.
