What a wonderful care home. Such lovely and welcoming staff.

My nana was here for 4 weeks. she fell twice and nobody told us unless we asked what her face was a mess. The 2nd fall resulted her going in to hospital and ending up on palliative care for 5 days before she died (complications) I don't understand how they didn't know she was in pain with the injury she had. Sorry I wouldn't hold this home in high regard

My Nana has been there 7 years and never had that much of a problem with the home until they took her mattress off her just for it to go in the bin and she is now getting no sleep and bed sores and is having to pay 300 for a new mattress !!!

My dad is in their and he likes it and they look after him really well

My Mam was only in Croft Dene a few weeks, but I have to say from the minute Sylvia came out to the Freeman Hospital to assess my Mam and said we will look after her that is exactly what happened. The building is very clean and well organised. My Mams room ( 3 ) was really nice and well fitted out. When I got into see my Mam the staff had already placed photos from her previous home onto the window sill making for instant comfort if she looked that way. A lovely touch. The staff always had time to chat or sing with Mam when they went about their nursing duties with her. Again lovely. The bedding was always immaculate and changed almost daily. Again brilliant. The staff also brought a CD player and Tv in to the room to assist in Mams care. The team looked after my Mam really really well and I can only say positives about this nursing home. From Sylvia to the nurses to the carers to the domestics all exemplary in their manner and outlook. Thank you. Les Dawson.
