Went on mother's day to visit my mother sent to wrong room. To be told your mother dead.and they walked away from me.

My mother went into Charton Court a little over 6 weeks ago. Neither her or my family knew how it would all pan out. The reason why we picked Charlton Court (and we visited a few!!!) was because of the feel we got -not only the home itself ,but mostly about the staff. We were right-my mother was/is a proud women who I always said I would never put in a 'Home',circumstances meant this was the path we had to take. My mother within days loved it and the love she has for the staff grows each day. This is because(in her own words) she feels safe, she trusts the staff and feels they treat her at the same time with respect. They have become her extended family....guess theres not much more one can say....at the age of nearly 92-hearing her say this and watching her smile and laugh with them....assures us shes in the Best place. Thank you Charlton Court from the bottom of our hearts x
