Spoke to Paul on the phone about having all the nuts and bolts done for a CR250 restoration, these were in a terrible state and 4 days later this was the result!! Very professional man and was very accommodating for this little job! Cant recommend them enough! Thanks to all the lads at Hastings for top fantastic job and service!!!

I was desperate to find a nickle plater close to Newcastle so I tried Hastings. The first time they charged 49, did a poor job but I was able to polish the work to a reasonable standard. I tried a platers in Middlesbrough. They were better but far away. So a number of years later I tried Hastings again hoping they'd learned to do a better job. They did an appalling job that had to be stripped and they tried to charge me over 200 for this obviously sub standard work. When challenged he denied doing it previously for 49 and started quoting the price per ton of nickle as an excuse for the massive price hike. I'm not a local and I think he thought I was rich and was trying to scam me. They also "lost" my custom made carry cases. I think that the boss is the sort of person who thinks if you give them a second chance you're a mug that deserves to be ripped off. Not nice.
